2027 Kia EV5: Pricing Announced

A new member is about to join Kia’s rapidly growing lineup of electric vehicles. The 2027 EV5 will arrive in Canadian dealerships next year with a starting price of $43,495.

Kia’s new all-electric SUV is offered with several powertrain configurations, featuring battery capacities ranging from 60.4 kWh to 81.4 kWh. Buyers can choose between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive depending on the version. The 2027 Kia EV5 offers an estimated driving range between 335 and 460 kilometres, placing it squarely in the middle of the segment.

Plenty of choices

Kia’s electric SUV is available in no fewer than nine different configurations. The lineup starts with the Light front-wheel-drive version, priced at $43,495. This model is equipped with a 60.4-kWh battery pack, providing an average driving range of 335 kilometres.

Next up is the Wind version, available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, priced at $47,495 and $49,995 respectively. This variant benefits from a larger 81.4-kWh battery, delivering up to 460 kilometres of range in front-wheel-drive form and 410 kilometres with all-wheel drive.

The Land version follows, offering performance figures very similar to the Wind model, with the exception of range, which drops slightly to 415 kilometres for the all-wheel-drive variant. It comes equipped with 19-inch wheels, a power tailgate and several advanced technologies.

The GT-Line version brings a sportier look to the EV5. Once again, buyers can choose between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, offering 460 and 410 kilometres of range respectively. Pricing rises to $55,495 and $57,995, which includes sportier wheels, ventilated front seats and additional premium features.

At the top of the lineup sits the GT-Line Limited version, priced at $58,995 with front-wheel drive and $61,495 with all-wheel drive.
